Lorraine Menko

Lorraine Menko, 74, of Wethersfield, CT, daughter of the late John F. Menko and Mary B. Menko, passed away at Hartford Hospital on Sunday, October 20,2024. Born May 3,1950 in Hartford, CT, Lorraine lived life to the fullest. She loved being outdoors and going on group outings, enjoyed activities at her day program, loved shopping, getting her nails painted, and watching the cooking channel. She was ever so observant of all that was happening around her and always giving us the "Happy" word to brighten our day. Lorraine is survived by those who will miss her dearly, Cioci Florence, Cousin Eileen, Cousin Karen, in addition to many generations of cousins. Lorraine will especially be missed by her ever-important extended family at Wethersfield Group Home and all those associated with Oak Hill who knew her and cared for her and made her life as Lorraine would say "Happy".
The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday, November 02, 2024, from 9:30am to 10:30am at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT with a Funeral Mass starting at 11:00am at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish St. James Church 767 Elm St. Rocky Hill CT. Burial will take place in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
