Garry Wichowski

Garry John Wichowski 72, of Wethersfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026. Born in Hartford on May 08, 1953, Garry was the son of his loving parents, the late Chester and Tina Wichowski of Wethersfield, Connecticut. Garry has lived in the area all his life. He is a graduate of Wethersfield High School and received a B.S. degree in Business from the University of New Haven. He retired from Aetna and continued to enjoy following his life-long love of sports, especially the New York Yankees.

Garry leaves his daughters Catherine Mead and her husband Jesse of Bayonne NJ, Melissa Milardo and her husband Matthew of East Hampton, Mary Wichowski of San Francisco, CA and Teresa Wichowski of Stamford; his two grandsons Lorenzo and Alonzo Milardo; his brother Larry Wichowski and his wife Margherita of Avon; sister Bonnie Cicco of Wethersfield; his close cousin Rosalie Germano and his loving aunt Antoinette both of Wethersfield; and his four loving nephews. A special thank you to George, his caregiver and Dianne his neighbor for all the patience, compassion and care they gave Garry for so long.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, March 5th, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am with Services to follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT. Garry will be buried in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
