Lorraine L Newsom

Lorraine Newsom, 76, of Valparaiso, passed away October 29, 2025, in Chesterton. She was born on October 1, 1949, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Harold and E. Louise (Johnson) Newsom. Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo and listening to music at Chesterton Manor. She also enjoyed spending time with her devoted partner Mike Webber, who always spoiled her rotten. Lorraine is survived by her sister Sharon Jones, sister-in-law Kathy Lute, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Newsom, and sister Nancy Ard. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Valparaiso.
