These two "Lovebirds " have been heavy on my mind recently. Sadly I have learned of Lorraine´s end of an incredibly long 107 years of fulfilled life. Lady Lorraine & Charmer Ray were an integral part of our Sunday morning breakfast group at Westchester Bowling. For 10 years we watched for their arrival after attending church with Ray cuddly has mason jar of home grown , homemade Salsa . If Ray was wearing that big grin, we knew why they had missed the past Sunday. They had made one of their many profitable trips to Las Vegas.. The gambling Gods shined down on Ray as he raked in his winning chips. Ray & Lorraine were a delight to visit with & share their interesting stories.
We have missed Ray for several years now & Lorraine will be missed by all who knew this sweet Lady.

To the Scheidemantel family , Aunt Lorraine was truly a blessed soul, always looked forward to seeing her and uncle Ray at family gatherings. We were always greeted with her warm cheerful smile. My Mom (Mary) always enjoyed when her and uncle Ray would visit her and play a game of marbles. And I have fond memories as a child going to Aunt Lorraine´s house on Mt.Vernon Ave to watch the fireworks at the B.C stadium. Good memories. Praying for all you during this time of loss. Gary- My aunt Shirley and I enjoyed speaking with your mom whenever we saw her at Milt's. She was a joy to speak with. Always so kind. Lorraine lived an amazing life and saw so many things in her 107 years. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Debbie Shepherd and all of us at Wattenbarger Do it Center.

To Gary & Dixie--Your mom sounds like a wonderful woman, but I would have figured that out because you are pretty good folks, too. I'm sorry for your loss, but we know that she is with her Lord, so all is good. My prayers for your comfort and confidence in her reward.
