Lorraine Russo Obituary
Lorraine Rose Russo, 88, of Marion Landing in Ocala passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Lorraine was born in Yonkers, New York, to Marjorie and Alphonse Benhardt, who predeceased her. She attended St. Denis Elementary School and Sacred Heart High School. She married the love of her life, Louis Russo, in 1956, and together they raised four children. Her family was the center of her life. Besides caring for her home and raising her children, Lorraine took pride in the work she did outside the home, particularly her time spent at IBM in Westchester County. Lorraine loved vacationing at the New Jersey shore every year with her family, playing games and taking trips with her community, and socializing with her many, many friends. Lorraine was a bright spirit, with a ready laugh. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Louis; her four children, Donna (Paul), Doreen, Kenneth (Jeanine), and Kevin (Beth); her seven grandchildren, Alisa Pacheco, Jenee Pacheco, Andrew Hartnett, Kevin Russo, Jason Russo, Arianna Russo, and Zachary Russo; her sister Dorothy (Richard); her brother-in-law Robert (Iris); and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine's sister Carol and her husband, Richard, predeceased her.
Memorial service will be 3:00p.m.-4:00p.m. Wednesday, September 7,2022 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, Timber Ridge Chapel.
Arrangements are in the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, Timber Ridge Chapel.
