Lorraine C. Williams, 61, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on 21 July 2025, after a short illness.
Lorraine was born 1 January 1964 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Gwendolyn Jones and A.J. Corley. She was raised by her adoptive mother, Lila Yancey.
Throughout her life, Lorraine worked a variety of jobs but her most rewarding job was owning and operating a Car Detailing business.
Lorraine married Johnny Williams on December 6th, 1986, in Michigan City, Indiana.
Remaining to cherish Lorraine's memory are her son, Robert Thompson; her granddaughter, Ava Thompson; ten sisters: Jacqueline Goodall (William), Loretta Evans (Charles), Lonzetta Leeks Milton, Lila Leeks, Pagerine Jackson, Patricia Qaiyyim (Jamal), Shirley Leeks, Tiffany Griffin, Latrecia (Pastor James E.) Lane, Jr., and Yolanda (Rahim) Griffin-Lee; three brothers: Jessie Leeks, Daniel Leeks, and David Mitchell; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of family members friends.
Preceding Lorraine in death is her husband, Johnny Williams, two children: Jason D. L. Yancey and Erica Yancey; her parents: Gwendolyn (Jones) Jackson and A. J. Corley; her adoptive mother, Lila (Lenard) Yancey; two brothers: Lonnie Leeks Jr. and Angelo Loroy Corley Sr.; and her grandparents.
The family expresses their heartfelt thanks for the love and support shown during this time of loss.
