Lorraine Wohlford Obituary
Lorraine Wohlford, age 82 of Port Hope, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at MyMichigan Health of Saginaw.
She was born on April 12, 1943, in Port Huron to the late Melvin and Laura (Brzezinski) Andrews. She and Robert Wohlford were united in marriage on June 19, 1965, in Harbor Beach. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2011. Lorraine was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. She was a member of the choir and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed her flower beds, painting, knitting, ceramics, but most of all enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Joseph Wohlford of Payson, Arizona, Holly (John) Herring of Port Hope; two grandchildren, Trevor, Saige; two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Emberlyn; her siblings, Evelyn Gainor, Ruth Rosdail and John Andrews; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kirk Wohlford.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, at 1 p.m. with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Friends and family may gather from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 pm at the funeral home.
