Lorri Buchman Obituary

Lorri 'Laura' Buchman passed away in her home surrounded by family on June 16, 2024.
Laura was born May 14, 1962 in Peru, Indiana to the late Donald Dean Stevens and Doreen 'Nana' Stevens.
After receiving her Associate in Science degree from Wesley College in 1998, Laura went on to become a Register Nurse. She ended her career as House Supervisor at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover.
On November 8, 2012, Laura was critically injured in a car accident. She suffered multiple injuries- many of them very severe – and spent several months in a coma. Following two years of care at many facilities, from then on Laura received private care at her home until her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Charles and Nell Buchman.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Buchman; daughter Lindsay Stevens and her partner Carl Hunt of Dover; son Bradley Buchman and his partner Candice Borowski of Dover; sister Carole Langiu and her husband John of Magnolia; brother Carl Stevens and his wife Christine Cornish of Dover; Greg's children Gregory and Brenda; and in-laws Donna Buchman, Debbie and Mark Mahaffey, Jon Buchman, and Valerie and Mike Lyons. Laura is also survived by grandchildren Madison and Ethan Mosley, Connor and Emmalin Buchman; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt 10), Dover. Friends may call two hours prior.
Letters of condolence may be sent and guestbook may be signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
