Lorri Long Obituary
Virginia Beach - Lorri Fay (Furbee) Long, a beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, in her house in Virginia Beach, VA. She was 63 years old.
Lorri was born on February 21, 1962, in Ventura, CA. She graduated from high school in El Paso, TX where she had her four sons. She pursued a career in public schools, where she was known for her dedication and kindness to colleagues and students alike. She loved animals and children and her passion was sharing her love for and knowledge of animals with children.
Lorri is preceded in death by her step-father, Patrick Furbee and her son, Jason Long. She is survived by her mother, Joan von Gerichten, her father Robert Seal, her devoted husband, James C. Long, and her sons James, Justin, and Jacob Long along with their children. Lorri leaves behind a circle of caring family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
