Lory Greenwood passed away on October 3, 2025 in American Fork, Utah. She was born on December 28, 1925 in Clayton, New Mexico to Ruben & Lucy Arellano. She married Darr Greenwood on March 9, 1949.

Lory loved doing ceramics, word puzzles and was a square dancer for approximately 40 years. She loved to decorate and dress up for every holiday and loved sitting on her porch swing in the sunshine. She was adopted by neighbors and friends as “their Grandma”. Loved by all and friends to all. She volunteered at American Fork Senior Center.

Lory served in several callings in the ward as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lory is survived by her daughters, Rayona Peck and Peggy Lawry. Also survived by: two grandsons: Erik Hale and Jason Hale; two granddaughters: Sarah Lawry and Heather Woodward; seven great-grandsons: Nick Martinez, Sage Viernes, Darr Egger, Kai Egger, Kadin Viernes, Marcus Hale, and James Hale; seven Great-Granddaughters: MiaKoda Egger, Lynzee Florez, Olivia Ison-Hale, Alyssia Cooke, Aubrey Cooke,  Freleigh Martinez and  Jordan Hale;  great-great grandsons: Alex Viernes, Jameson Martinez, Bodhi Martinez, 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah 84070 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will take place from 11:00 to 11:45 AM before the service. Interment at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery.
