Lottie J Wujcik, 95, a resident of Southwoods in Titusville, PA, died Sept. 5, 2024.
Born September 6, 1928 in Oil City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Biela Tenza.
Lottie attended Assumption BVM school and was a graduate of Oil City High School in 1946. She was voted "best dressed" in her senior year. She had an eye for style and would never turn down a shopping excursion.
Mrs. Wujcik worked at Weaver Chevrolet as a bookkeeper until starting her family. She then went back to work at Brown's Boot Shop until she retired.
She was married August 18, 1951, in the Assumption BVM Church to the late Thaddeus J. Wujcik. They were married 63 years.
Lottie loved to paint and enjoyed making and selling crafts with her husband, Ted. She also was an avid reader. Lottie was a member of the Assumption BVM Church, the Assumption BVM Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.
The two most important things to Lottie were her faith and family which she so loved. She is survived by six children, Janice Klahr and her husband, Pete of Erie, PA; Daniel Wujcik and his wife Debbie of Columbia, TN; Patricia Couts and her husband, Harry of Venus, PA; Christine Narusewicz and her late husband, Stephen of Erie, PA; Karen Lorey and her late husband, Kevin of Titusville, PA; and Theresa Jones and her husband, Thomas of Georgetown, TX.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Andrew Klahr, Kristy Bergstrom and husband Matt, Kari Wujcik, Michael Couts and wife Andrea; Bryan Couts and wife Jamie; Zachary Narusewicz and wife Jodie; Sara Narusewicz; Stefanie Swartz and husband Caleb; Ashley Hamilton and husband Keith; Jacqueline Stremple and husband BJ, and Derek Jones and wife Veronica.
Mrs. Wujcik also has nine great grandchildren, Claire and Benjamin Couts; Harrison and Jameson Couts, Hannah and Elijah Swartz, Emmy and Gracie Stremple, and Sophie Jones.
Lottie is survived by her sister Virginia (Ginka) Gollasch of Colorado and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Gawrys and brothers Raymond and Edward Tenza.
Family and Friends will be received from 2:00 P.M.- 3:00 P.M. on Monday in St. Joseph Church, Oil City prior to her Mass of Christian Burial. The mass will be celebrated at 3:00 P.M. Monday with Fr. Richard Allen, presiding. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Lottie's family extends a heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff at Southwoods for their love and care over the years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford County or a charity of one's choice.
