A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Carencro for Lou Ana Guillory, 85, who passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024.  Father Christopher Cambre, Pastor at St. Peter Catholic Church, will officiate the ceremony.   Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery immediately following the services.  

Visitation hours will be observed at Walters Funeral Home on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  A rosary will be prayed at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m., and will be led by Deacon Ulysses Joubert.

Lou was a Parishioner at St. Peter Catholic Church in Carencro.  She was an employee for 42 years at Earl’s Cajun Market, and before that she worked at the A&P Supermarket in Lafayette.  

In her free time, she enjoyed the flowers in her yard, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Lou is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rene and Elise Guillory;  six sisters, Anna Bell Deshotel, Thelma Deshotel, Viney Fontenot, Beulah Ortego, Emily Charlie, and Effie Ardoin;  and four brothers, Dalbis Guillory, A.J. Guillory, Efton Guillory, and Rene Guillory, Jr.

Pallbearers are Danny Ardoin, Dallas Ardoin, Rene “T.J.” Ardoin, Robie Ardoin, Barry Guillory, and Tristan Guillory.
