Lou Brookshear Obituary
Lou Brookshear, 91 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026. She was born December 14, 1934 in Sadler, Texas to Frank and Bernice O'Neal Cagle. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Joe Brookshear; two sisters and a brother.
She was a member of Russellville First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by children, Gary and Kim Brookshear, Linda and Mark Burge, Robert and Karen Brookshear; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Neal Cagle; sisters-in-law, Pat and William Tuley and Peggy Cagle, as well as several other family and friends.
Her graveside funeral service and burial will be 1pm, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Local arrangements are entrusted of Russellville Family Funeral.
