Lou Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care - Pembroke Pines Chapel on May 3, 2025.
Lou Ida Wright, 86, of Miami Gardens, Florida, passed away on April 28, 2025.
Born on September 4, 1938, in Marion, Alabama, Lou Ida lived a life marked by compassion, faith, and quiet strength. From an early age, she felt a calling to care for others. After graduating from Lincoln High School in her hometown, she subsequently moved to Miami, Florida to purse her goal of becoming a registered nurse. A dream she fulfilled through hard work and dedication.
Her work as a caregiver was not just a profession, but a reflection of her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her journey. As a devoted member of St. Stevens AME Church, (in Carol City) Lou Ida found both sanctuary and purpose. She supported her congregation through prayer and steadfast presence-an ever-reliable source of encouragement and grace.
For over seventy years, Lou Ida shared an enduring bond with her husband, Charlie James Wright. Their partnership was rooted in mutual respect and love, forming the foundation of a family raised with care and resilience. Cutie and Danke (as they lovingly referred to each other) were fixtures on the corner of 3620 NW 211 street, where they established themselves as a neighbor's neighbor, collecting lifelong friends and associates for sixty years.
She bore the loss of two children, Yolanda Wright and Timothy Wayne Wright, with profound grace, and courage. Her faith and steadfast belief that she would one day see them again, provided her solace and stood as a testament to the depth of her Love for her children. She is lovingly remembered by the following: her two sons, Lue Arthur Wright and Carl Alonzo Wright; her daughter Andrea Wright; her sisters, Ida Bell Brooks and Diane Brooks; her two brothers, David brooks and Demus Brooks. She also had several other siblings who preceded her in death.
Lou Ida's legacy lives on through her granddaughter Kristan Davon Wright-Daniels, and her great-grandson Jaxson Alonzo Daniels, who were nurtured by her wisdom. Additionally, Lou Ida leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who carry forward cherished memories.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures-cooking meals that brought family together, watching game shows that sparked laughter, tending flowers that thrived under her care, and honoring Sundays as sacred time for worship and renewal.
Lou Ida's kindness leaves an enduring imprint-gentle yet powerful-and her memory continues to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her.
"Life is but a dream, within a dream." Shakespeare
