Louis Robert Acquavella

Louis Robert Acquavella, 63 years old, of Old Bridge, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge.
Born in Brooklyn, New York to Vincent and Vincenza (née Giuffrida) Acquavella, he resided in Old Bridge for 34 years.
Prior to retiring in 2019 he was a track supervisor for the New York City Transit for 35 years.
Louis was a huge fan of the N.Y. Rangers, his puppies, music and fishing. He also enjoyed going to concerts with his family and was known for his strong personality and ability to flip off anyone.
He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Vincenza; his brother, James, in July, and his dogs, Bonnie, Rosie, Maggie, Lucky, and Heidi.
Surviving are his wife of almost 38 years, Lisa, their son, Vinny, their dog, Abby, his sister, Diane, his nieces and nephews, brothers-in laws, sisters-in-law, and his mother-in-law.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge, where a service will be held at 6:00 pm. Cremation will be private.
