Tina, I just heard from a friend in Hawaii about Lou's passing, and wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you.

Lou was one of the most wonderful, kind, unselfish men that I have ever known. We had such fun together talking about military history, and helping with each other's books and projects. He was always willing to share with me whatever he thought I might need, without any reservation or hesitation. He remains a wonderful friend that I can never forget.

When I go to my Parish (Our Lady of Lourdes) for Morning Mass tomorrow, I will light a candle in his memory and offer up prayers both for Lou, and for you as you work your way through this time. I wish that there were something more that I could do, but know that I am thinking about you.
