Louis “Big Lou” William Cook, 66, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Lou was born to Gerald Louis Cook and Deloris Jean Cook on July 29, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the oldest of their 4 boys.
“Big Lou” was a loyal friend and loving Papa. He is the man that would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his Harley, pinching you with his toes, and watching John Wayne on repeat. He will be remembered for his big smile and very unique sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children, Becky, Crystal, Jerry (Amy), Amber (Antonio), Louis JR, and Deloris; his 13 grandchildren; and his brothers, Dean (Susan), Cliff (Lori), and Curtis (Tracy).
A Celebration of Lou’s Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter’s Venmo account - (@Amber-Hernandez-203).
