I had not seen him for a lot of years, but he remained one of my favorite cousins. I had no idea that he was living in the town that I grew up in. I´m saddened by knowing that he was there and I never stopped in to see him. The last time we spoke on the phone, maybe 15 years ago, we promised that we would get together soon. It never happened. There was never a time that I saw him come into a room without thinking that I was going to be laughing soon. He was funny and he was cool. I have many treasured memories of times spent around Louie. He was a prominent member of a tight circle of cousins who will always remain "my people" in my heart, even though I have become a hermit. I send blessings and condolences to everyone who loved Louie, many of whom I still love and always will.

I was saddened when I found out about the passing of Louis. He was one of my brother John's good friends and I can remember them all hanging out together on Mission Hill. Louis was such a kind and friendly soft spoken person and he will be missed. My condolences to Karen and Jennifer please know that Lou is now with his Mom, Phyliss in Heaven. May God bless the Cugini family and give them strength during this difficult time.
