Louis George, age 90, of Millcreek Township, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 23rd, 2025 at Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home.
Born October 12th, 1935 in Erie, PA, a son of the late Louis George and Mary Rust.
He attended Saint Andrews and graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1954. After serving in the Marine Corp, he became an apprentice in the Glaziers Union of Erie PA #482. He worked for the Erie Window Glass Co. for about 33 years. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Penn Steelhead Association for many years, a member of the American Legion Post 773 and a lifetime member of the Siebenburger Club.
He was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Yvonne George.
Survivors include his son, Bill George and wife Pam; a daughter, Kim Osinski and husband Paul; a brother, Bob George and wife Patty; two sisters, Arlene Fitch and Audrey Roniewicz; a stepson, Scott Berry and wife Regina; and stepdaughter, Tami Ryan and husband Tim. He is further survived by four grandchildren, Mike, Natalie, Kevin and Jenna.
Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., 602 W. 10th St.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 1645 W. 8th St. Erie, PA 16505.
