Louis F. Gouslin, born on October 7, 1935, in Winchendon, MA, passed away on September 30, 2025. A lifelong resident of Winchendon, Louis was much admired for his dedication to his community and family. His steadfast commitment to his work was evident in his well-known status as a beloved school bus driver, a role that earned him the endearing title of the best bus driver. He also owned and operated Louie's Repair, a testament to his tireless work ethic and versatility.
Louis was not only a respected member of the work force, but also a devoted servant to his community. A US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. As a life member of the VFW and the American Legion, he exhibited a profound sense of duty and commitment. Beyond his professional and community service, Louis cherished his time spent sitting on the porch with his wife, Marie, and the outdoors. His hobbies included tending to his beloved horse, gardening, hunting, and operating his tractor. These activities kept him active and connected him to the natural beauty of Winchendon. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Gouslin; his son, Craig Gouslin, and his wife, Lisa; step-son, Jeff Martin, and his partner, Lisa Evanowski; and step-daughter, Kelly Barron, and her husband, Joel; four grandchildren, Alex Barron, Samantha Barron, Danielle Martin, and James Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sr. and Elizabeth Gouslin.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475
