Louis G. Iacovelli, 98, a loving, kind, and gentle man, passed away peacefully, on April 17, 2025 surrounded by
his loving family. Born on January 29, 1927, in
Milford, MA he was the son of the late Luigi R. and Margaret
(Colantonio) Iacovelli.
Louis was the husband of the late, Lois A. (Grillo) Iacovelli, with whom he shared many
wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to his daughter, Lisa Nobil, and her husband,
Keith, of Lynnfield. Louis was predeceased by his brother, Richard Iacovelli, and his sister, Norma
Marian. He was a cherished uncle to his nephews, Steven Marian of Wrentham and Roy Marian of
Attleboro. Louis was a proud grandfather to Alison, Keriann, and Michael, and a doting great-
grandfather to Zoe, Ava, Avery-Lou, Magner, Killian, Theo and Miles.
Louis received his Associate's degree from Burdett Business School, which laid the foundation for
his successful career. He was a proud United States Navy veteran of World War II, serving his country with
honor and distinction. Louis went on to work at Draper Corporation, Rockwell, and Damon Electronics
where he held the position of manager of inventory control. His dedication and hard work were
admired by his colleagues and friends.
An avid golfer, Louis was a member of the Hopedale Country Club for over 52 years. He enjoyed
the camaraderie and friendly competition on the golf course, as well as the friendships he made
throughout the years. Louis was also a member of the Italian Vets, where he took part in Bocci ball
tournaments and enjoyed playing cards with his fellow members. His interests and hobbies brought joy and laughter to those who knew him, and his presence will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 7 E. Main St.,
Milford.
Visiting hours will be Monday, April 28, 2025 from 8:30 - 9:30 am in the Buma - Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford prior to the Funeral Mass.
Burial will be private.
