Louis Iannone of Bellmawr passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, on May 5, 2022. Age 92.
Beloved husband of Nancy Iannone (nee Tota) for 68 years. Devoted father of Maria Iannone, Anthony Iannone, Beatrice Ward, Vincent Iannone (Nancy), Nancy Capocasale (Renold) and Gina Sandoz (Michael). Loving Pop Pop of Alicia, Louis, Rachel, Samantha, Renold, Maria, Mark, Elena, Gabriella, and Siena. Dear brother of Domenic and Charles (Franca), brother-in-law of Gemma, and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Lisa, his parents Antonio and Maria, and siblings Mary Gallo (Phillip) and Vito Iannone.
Louis was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Italy. He returned to the US at age 17. Louis proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an avid gardener of flowers and vegetables, loved watching the Phillies with his wife Nancy, and enjoyed seeing shows in Atlantic City. Louis was a butcher who managed the meat department at A&P for 36 years. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
There will be a viewing from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm on Monday, May 9 and from 9am to 10am Tuesday, May 10 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Mass 11am Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Haddon Heights.

Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.
