Louis J. Murillo Jr. "Teach" 77, lifelong resident of Chicago's south side, Archer Heights neighborhood, passed away July 21, 2025. Beloved husband of Saguday "Sadie" (Madriaga); loving brother of Sebastian (Tracy) Murillo, Carole (Todd) Fiandaca, Matthew (Joanna) Murillo, and the late Aurora Murillo; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved Cockatoo bird Fred.
Louis was a proud United States Marine Veteran. He retired from the City of Chicago as a Motor Truck Driver after 26 years of dedicated employment. Louis was described by his family as a good-natured, humble person with a huge heart. He volunteered at the local food pantry and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He absolutely adored all animals and would feed the neighborhood animals daily.
Resting at Central Funeral Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago. Visitation Friday, July 25, 2025 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Service Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park.
