Louis W. Resler Jr., 93, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 7, 2025. Lou was the loving husband of Beverly A. (Dudley) Resler, and they celebrated 70 years of marriage prior to her passing on June 20, 2024. Lou and his wife were members of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Born in Sharpsville, Pa, Lou was the son of the late Louis W. and Ann (Verostic) Resler Sr. Louis proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, where he raised to the rank of Sergeant. His time in the military taught him his lifelong resilience and determination. After being discharged from the military, Lou worked as an Indoor Sales Engineer for the former Westing House Corp., and later ABB before his retirement. He was very generous, extremely proud of his children, and was the king of his castle. Surviving Lou is his son Dennis, his grandchildren Brandon, Kyle, Christina, and Ashley, and his great-grandchildren Isabella, Brayden and Riley Ann. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers Jim and Paul. Lou was preceded in death by his two daughters Luann Resler Holland and Karen Sue Hlavaty. A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Friday September 12, 2025, at 1:30pm in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1500 Airport Road, Allentown. A calling period will be held on Friday from 12:00-1:00pm in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 908 Hanover Avenue, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Lou's memory to Arden Courts of Old Orchard, care of the funeral home.
