Mr. Louis Brock Stroman

Louis Brock Stroman, Sr., 85, of Maumelle passed away at home on August 6th, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. Louis was born June 10th, 1923 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Jake Louis Stroman and Vesta Kathleen Brock Stroman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty Jean Stroman and granddaughter Tiffany Michelle Wright. After graduating from Magnolia High School, Louis attended Arkansas A & M College in Magnolia. He went on to become an influential business and electronics entrepreneur and was the founder of Stroman's Incorporated, which he managed until his retirement. He remained CEO of Stroman's Inc until his death. Louis was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Wilda Elizabeth Wood Stroman; daughter and son-in-law Sheryl and Michael Funderburg; son Louis Brock Stroman, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Rebecca Stroman; son and daughter-in-law Alan and Keli Stroman; daughter Tamara Suzette Stroman and very dear family friend, David Kelley. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Sean (Celeste), Christian (Tina) & Ashley Funderburg; Megan and Amanda Stroman, Jeremy and Kristen Wright; Justin and Andrew Stroman; step grandchildren Leanne (Chris) Baribeau and Amanda Smith and great grandchildren; Conor, Larkin and Haven Funderburg and Mia Hedstrom.
