New Milford - Louisa J. Llull (nee Bures), 98, of New Milford, NJ passed away peacefully on July 11th surrounded by her loving family.

Louisa is survived by her son Joseph Llull and daughter Mary Llull O'Connell (Scanlon). She was the proud grandmother of Jessica and her husband Marko, Erin and her fiancé Gregg, Catherine and her husband Christian. She was the cherished great-grandmother of Charlotte and Madeline. She will also be greatly missed by her sister-in-law Anna Bures and her many nieces and nephews. Louisa was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Llull and her brother Louis J. Bures.

Louisa was born in New York City on March 17, 1923 where she lived until she moved to New Milford, NJ in 1967. Prior to her marriage on March 19, 1954, Louisa worked as a bookkeeper. She then devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren. Collecting antique sewing machines was one of her greatest passions, and she was a charter member of Toy Stitchers International. She also enjoyed travelling and took many cross-country-road trips with her family. Louisa loved to crochet, collect hippos, and go to garage sales on the weekends. Most important to Louisa was her family. She was a constant in her granddaughters' lives and always taught them new skills like crocheting, sewing, and crafting. She adored her two great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Madeline. They will truly miss their "Tita".

Friends and family are invited for visitation at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ on Thursday, July 15th from 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at Volk Leber Funeral Home on Friday, July 16th at 11 AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
