Louisa Jean Terrick, born on July 22, 1948, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma, on her 76th birthday.
She was a remarkable woman who left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was known for teaching her children and others the importance of strength, independence, perseverance, and always being prepared. Her personality shone brightly through her actions and words.
In addition to her admirable character traits, Louisa had a passion for cooking and cherished game nights with both friends and family. Her warm presence and love for these simple pleasures brought joy to those around her.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Terrick and wife Holly of East Brunswick, NJ; daughters, Linda Terrick of Whitehall, PA, and Denise Fowler and husband Jeremy of Pryor, OK; brothers, Prosper Marcantonio and Dominick Marcantonio; sisters, Antoinet Blicharz and Carmela Brennan; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Louisa Jean Terrick is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jennie (Mazzaro) Marcantonio; husband, Joseph A. Terrick III; brothers Louie, Thomas, Patsy, Joseph, Johnny, Carmen, and Nicholas; as well as sisters Madeline, Mary, and Tessie.
