Louise Burrell Obituary
Louise Burrell, 79 of Highlands, passed away on Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Inez Green of Highlands.
Rooted in her faith, Louise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her foundation in Christ and the joy she found in Him was evident in every interaction she had, and we have great assurance that she is with Him.
Surviving are her husband, Mike Burrell; three daughters, Lori Bee (David), Melissa Scroggs (Allen), and April Mueller (Dave); one granddaughter, Gracie; three grandsons, Caleb, Owen, and Ethan; sisters, Susie Beck, Helen Bowman (Morlan), and Debbie Brown; brothers, Milton Green (Pat) and Jerry Green (Eugenia); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Flats of Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverends Marty Kilby, Kenny Kilby, and Jamie Chastain officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
