She was President of the Lake George Garden Club and active with the Women's Guild and the Mountain Grove Memorial Church and played a significant role in bringing the community together in countless ways for which she is well remembered.
In the last 20 years of her life, she reconnected with a special friend from her college days, George Gates, and they travelled extensively together within the United States and abroad.
Eight years ago, Louise moved to the North Hill Continuing Care Facility in Needham, MA where she lived in the winter. Like the other communities she touched, Louise shared her special talents to forge strong friendships and bring the community together.
