Louise M. Haefele

Haefele, Louise M., - (nee Harber), age 94, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of Brigantine NJ passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by family on January 8, 2024. Born September 23, 1929 in Philadelphia, she resided in Philadelphia until moving to Brigantine in 1994. She was a graduate of Olney High School. After graduating high school, she married the love of her life, Martin Haefele Sr, and started a loving family comprised of five children. Louise was a woman of strong faith which dictated much of her life even through tragedy, losing three of five children entirely too young. Through it all, her faith in God was admirable and is what allowed her to be the most loving, willing and strong mother and grandmother until the day of her passing. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Martin, her three children, Andy, John and Richard, and two sisters, Josephine Harber and Dorothy Walkup. Louise is survived by her children Louise Morrison, of Absecon, Marty Haefele Jr. (Rose) of Brigantine, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, as well as her sister Violet Farmer (Robert) of Huntingdon Valley PA.
