Catherine Louise Hampton, 76, of Trenton, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2025. Louise's life was a testament to the love she embodied and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Louise will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Rising Fawn Church of God, where she was a devoted member. Pastor Chris Hagler will officiate the service. Following the service, Louise will be laid to rest at Sarah Chapel Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, and again at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
Louise was a sweet soul whose love for her family was boundless. She held a special place in her heart for her granddaughter, Heaven, and found joy in spending time with those she adored. Her faith in the Lord was unwavering, reflecting her compassionate nature and commitment to her church community.
Louise is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy (Matthew) Veal; her granddaughter, Heaven Leigh Veal; and her siblings, Carolyn (Marvin) York, Ronnie (Demetrius) Derryberry, and Joanna (David) Wallace.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Con Hampton; her parents, Jack and Dorothy Derryberry; and her siblings, Bud Derryberry and Jane Payne.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Louise Hampton, let us remember her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for family, and her deep faith that inspired all around her. She will be dearly missed but forever held in our hearts.
