Louise Mandarino Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lack & Sons Funeral Home - Hickory Hills on Oct. 1, 2025.
Louise Valia Mandarino, 101 years old, of Raleigh, previously of Illinois, passed away on August 18, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Louise was born on January 15, 1924, in Scontrone, Italy to the late Giovanni and Gelsomina Tiritilli. Louise personified class as she moved through her life. She presented herself every day with grace and dignity. There was never a hair out of place, her wardrobe was impeccable, and she enjoyed beautiful jewelry every time she stepped out the door. The gems she wore paled in comparison to the beauty she was, inside and out. Louise was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo Mandarino in 2000 and her brother, Julio Tiritilli. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Angelo Mandarino (Joan Welborn) and her grandchildren, Vincent, Alyssa, and Paula Mandarino. Visitation Thursday, August 28, 2025, 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Lack and Sons Funeral Home, 9236 South Roberts Road, Hickory Hills. Funeral Prayers Friday, August 29, 2025, 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home to St. Patricia Church, 9050 South 86th Avenue, Hickory Hills, Mass 10 A.M. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Louise's memory to St.Raphael Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC, 27609.The family would like to thank the precious caregivers at Our Promise Care Senior Home for the loving care they bestowed upon Louise in her final years.
