Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Louise B. Masullo, 94, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 30, 1931, in Bellefonte, to the late Mary Blazina. In 1951, in Bellefonte, she married her beloved husband, James T. Masullo, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 16, 1987, after sharing 36 years of marriage.
Louise was a 1950 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. She worked as the business administrator at Centre Crest Nursing Home from 1968 until retiring in 2000, after 32 years of service. Louise loved quilting and reading, she was especially fond of Nora Roberts and Diana Palmer. She kept her mind sharp with crossword puzzles and word searches, always enjoying a good challenge. She and her daughter, son, and granddaughter spent time traveling across Europe, visiting several times exploring different countries.
Louise is survived by her daughter, MaryAnn Gomez (Jose) of Woodbridge, Virginia, James T. Masullo, Jr. of Bellefonte, Patrick W. Masullo (Carol) of Bellefonte, and Robert L. Masullo (Anna) of Bellefonte. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jack, Andy, Dom, Erin, Matthew, and three great-grandchildren, Charlie, Adrian, and Roman.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Bellefonte. A memorial mass will be held in her memory a later date.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to 365 hospice agency for their compassionate care and comfort they provided Louise during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic School at 116 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823 or to Wheeling University Campus Ministry, c/o Father David Griffin, OSB, at 316 Washington Ave., Wheeling, WV 26003.
