HALES CORNERS - (Lulu) as she was known to family and friends was called home by Our Lord Jesus Christ on December 31, 2022, at the young age of 87.
Lulu was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Harry" McCallum, her parents, Anderw and Esther Sciano "nee Malloy".
Survived by her sister Marie M. Schneider and her late husband, Arthur Schneider. Preceded in death by her sister Esther P. Gellings and her late husband Glen Gellings. Preceded in death by her brother Andrew Sciano and survived by her sister-in-law Nancy A. Sciano. Survived by her Carol Ann Sciano-Wilson and husband Michael Wilson. Preceded in death by her brother James Patrick Sciano, and many aunts, and uncles. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lulu was born into an Italian-Irish Catholic family with many old family traditions on October 8th, 1935 in the city of Milwaukee. She attended grade school and high school. Lulu worked with her parents and siblings in several family enterprises. Lulu was very successful in her business. Lulu met and married the love of her life, Harry McCallum in 1958, to whom she devoted her life until the time of his death. Together they traveled internationally and domestically. The also spent much time visiting the sick and the elderly and infirmed people in hospitals and nursing homes. Lulu was an avid animal lover, having her own horses in her youth and caring for many dogs and cats while married. She was always putting food out for the wild birds and animals. Lulu enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening and caring for her yard. She will truly be missed by her family and all her friends. She is at peace with her heavenly family and out of pain.
A special thanks to Father Aaron Laskiewicz of St. Mary Parish in Hales Corners for coming to the hospital and giving Lulu the last rites. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Carmelite nuns of Pewaukee, Sister Mary Agnes and Sisters for prayers and Masses said for Lulu during this time.
A visitation will be held at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community Church, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, WI on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 from 10 am to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Humane Animal Welfare Society in Waukesha in honor of Harry and Louise McCallum.

My deepest sympathies to her extended family on Lulu´s passing. She & Harry were the first to embrace my time knowing the Sciano family. They both were gentle, loving souls & will be missed. RIP Lulu-Harry´s waiting
