Louise N. Miller of Doe Run, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born on November 27, 1935, in Jewett, Missouri, to the late Andrew Martin and Ida Elizabeth (Wray) Young. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, embroidering, and painting. Her dumpling recipe was always a popular dish at family functions. She loved Elvis Presley and was a follower of the Elvis tribute artist, Joseph Hall. Louise loved Christmas and had several memorial trees.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Reverend Howard L. Miller; son, Kenny L. Miller; sisters, Loretta Brown, Trula Huffman, and Lucille LaPlant, and a brother, Wilburn “Sonny” Young.
Louise is survived by her adoring children, Beverly (Jim) Dugal, Harold Miller, and John Miller; four grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Kee, Josh (Trish) Dugal, Jamie Miller, and Jacob (Mandy) Dugal; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Diana Kuehl; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to time of service at 1:00 PM. Lewis “Eddie” Francis will be officiating. Interment will be at the New Rhodes Chapel Cemetery near Marquand, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions are to be made to the Madison County Senior Center, 107 Spruce Street, Fredericktown, MO 63645.
Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer Funeral Home-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown.
