Louise Cipolla Pitre, 64 of New Haven died peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of William Pitre. Louise was born in Yonkers, NY on November 18, 1954, a daughter of the late Vincent and Susan Wichick Cipolla. She had resided in New Haven for the past thirty years. She previously resided in Arecibo, Puerto Rico for thirteen years. Louise was a secretary at ACME Auto Leasing of North Haven for ten years, retiring in 2011 due to her illness. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lydia Vallejo of Johnston, SC, two sons, William (Valerie) Pitre of Hato Rey, PR and Wilberto (Sara) Pitre of Lexington, SC, three sisters, Dorothy Medina of Yonkers, Diane Bernadelli of New Windsor, NY and Joan Crespo of New Port Richey, FL, George (Arlene) Cipolla of Yonkers, a sister-in-law, Peggy Cipolla of Cortland Manor, NY and three grandchildren, Desiree Vallejo, and Layla and Sephie Pitre. She was predeceased by two sisters, Kathy O'Hara and Marie Chillo, and two brothers, Vincent and Paul Cipolla. Louise's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
