Louise Joyce Layton Stapleton
June 25, 1945 - May 19, 2025
Louise Stapleton passed away Sunday, May 19, 2025, at Salem Hospital. Louise was born and raised in Dallas, OR to Leroy James Layton and Edith Lavern Goodrich Layton on June 25, 1945.
After graduating from Dallas High School in 1963 she married the love of her life, Robert "Bobby" Larry Stapleton on January 15, 1965, at the First Christian Church, Dallas, OR.
Together they created a home and family on Stapleton's homestead in Perrydale, OR. They raised three children: Robert Shane and twin daughters, Regina Derise and Jody Rae.
They were blessed with 59 years of marriage and lived happily, loving and caring for each other. Louise was devoted to her family, and she loved the peaceful tranquility, solitude, and beauty of the farm. She enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, crocheting, and bird watching. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her husband, Bob Stapleton, her children: Shane, Reggie, and Jody; and grandchildren: Heather Pristavec, Lane and Hannah Stapleton, Abby and Casey Bliven, Aidan and Melina Condon.
Please join us for a time of fellowship as we honor and remember Louise, our adored wife and mother. A memorial service will be held at Valley Life Center, Dallas, OR. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1 P.M. Reception to follow.
