Jessie Louise Thornhill, 74, of Blue Mound, TX, died at home on January 31, 2026.
She was born in Fort Worth, September 17, 1951, to Alvin and Lillian Smith. Along with her sister and brother. She married the love of her life who she met at a skating rink while she was still in High School, Roy Thornhill Sr., on January 30, 1970. Together they had two sons. She was retired after being a Child Nutrition Manager for Birdville ISD.
She was also a faithful and active member of Saginaw Park Baptist Church where she and her family began attending in 1982.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, her sister and brother and is survived by her husband, Roy Sr., her sons Roy Jr., and Kevin, his wife Karen, and grandsons Ian and Gavin.
A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 9-10 AM, with a funeral service to follow at 10 AM, and graveside service immediately after at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home, 850 North Cardinal Road, Azle TX 76020. A luncheon is scheduled following these services at Saginaw Park Baptist Church 512 S. Blue Mound Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76131
