Louise Marie Williams, 77, of South Bend, Indiana passed away peacefully at home in her sleep, the way she wanted to on August 26, 2025. She was born on October 14, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to the late John and Wilma (Podlas) Nozykowski. On October 23, 1967 in St. Patrick's Church in South Bend, she married Richard L. Williams, who preceded her in death on May 23, 2004. Louise was also preceded in death by one daughter, Paulette Makielski, one sister, Victoria Kuhn and one brother, Paul Novak. She is survived by two daughters, DeAnne (Jimmy) Green of South Bend, Indiana, Michelle; one son, Richard "Dickie" L. (Lora) Williams, Jr. of South Bend, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Christine, Chad, Kayla, Ashley, Jessica, Jade, Paige and Brittney; five great-grandchildren, Paisley, Hunter, Bodie and Aiden and Elijah Makielski; one special cousin, Marie Pynert; four nephews, David Kuhn, Porky, Tim and Andy Williams; one niece, Deb Kuhn Glasgow; and two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Kuhn and Tom (Jennifer) Gooley and their children, Tommie and Pamela.

Louise liked to watch movies and do jigsaw puzzles. She loved nature, animals and living in the country.

No services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation or Pet Refuge in Louise's honor. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com
