Louise Annie Wright

Louise Annie Kiser Wright, 96, of Bessemer City, passed away at Lincoln Rehabilitation Center on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was born November 7, 1927, in Gaston County, to the late Luther Andrew Kiser and Lucy Clark Kiser. During her career, she worked as an office manager and loved going camping in the mountains or at the beach. She also enjoyed square-dancing with her late husband, Jr. They would dance everywhere they went. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She will greatly be missed but will forever be in our hearts.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William “Jr.” Felix Wright; sons, Larry Gene Wright, Jerry Robert Wright, Gregory Joel Wright, and Eric William Wright; brother, Henry Kiser; sisters, Juanita Ross and Gladys Neal.  

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Teresa Martin and husband Jerry; sister, Ruby Flack; grandson, Jerry Martin II; great-granddaughter, Ella Rein Martin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Hephzibah ARP Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brant Wilkie officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery in Gastonia. Memorials may be sent to Anthony Grove Building Fund @ 100 Anthony Grove Rd; Crouse, NC  28033.
