Marion “Hollywood” Robert Reid, 72, of Cherryville passed away on January 14, 2026, at Atrium Health Lincolnton. He was born on March 20, 1952, to the late John Perry Reid and Mary Williams Reid.
He was of the Baptist faith. Marion loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ann Reid, sons, James Reid of Waynesville, and Robert Reid (Tina) of Canton; stepdaughters, Joyce Sanborn of Kansas, Karen Moss of Cherryville, and Edith Reep of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Justine Reid, Jonathan Reid, Ashlie Reid, Josh Reid, Jeffrey Sanborn, Ashley VanNess, Dakota Moss, Carol Moss, Brandie Moss, Paul Reep; 9 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
