Lovadore Bode Obituary
A graduate of Brookfield High School, Brookfield Twp., OH, Class of 1944, she was employed at WKBN, Youngstown, OH, and a volunteer for the Veteran's Medical Center in Trumbull County, OH. She also worked at WPIC in Sharon, PA.
A graduate of the University of Chicago, she became a member of Evanshire United Presbyterian Church in Skokie and served as president of both the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion No. 320 and Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post No. 3854. A founding member of the Skokie Fourth of July Parade, Mickey also served as a member of the Woman's Board of Lambs Farm in Libertyville, IL.
Beloved wife of the late Jack; dear stepmother of the late Steve; also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
A Memorial Service is planned for June, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lambs Farm, Attn: Development Dept., 14245 W. Rockland Rd., Libertyville, IL 60048 (lambsfarm.org).
