Lovell Rowser Sr.

Lovell Rowser, Sr. affectionately known as "Lil Huss", 90, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023. He was born March 11, 1933 in Demopolis, Alabama to the late James Rowser, Sr. and Georgia Dubose Rowser. Mr. Rowser was predeceased by his wife Johnnie Mae Russell Rowser. He owned and operated Rowser Painting Services for many years. He was known for his friendliness and commitment to family and friends. His memory will be treasured by his daughters; Lenora Rowser and Brenda Rowser, his sons; Lovell Rowser, Jr. and wife Deborah, Morris Rowser and wife Paula, three adored grandchildren; Raushan Rowser, Mooriah Rowser and Nigel Rowser, his sister; Jeanette Williams, two brothers; Wilbur Rowser (Lois) and Eugene Rowser (Peggy) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lovell was also predeceased by his siblings, Sherman Rowser, Matilda Allen Matthis, James Rowser, Jr., Jerome Rowser, Juanita Roberts Cruz and Mary Judson. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a service of celebration at 11:00 am at Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Ave., Stamford, CT., Senior Pastor Andre Bradley officiating, Rev. Dr. Michael Christie, eulogist. Interment will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Services entrusted to Graves Medley Funeral Services.
