Lowell "Andy" Andrew Hennig passed way Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the age of 80.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Panhandle on Friday October 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Josh Light officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Andy was born July 24, 1945, in Pampa, Texas to John Hennig and Naomi Benningfield Hennig. He married Lola Jane White on June 7, 1969, in Amarillo. Andy proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a volunteer EMT and fireman in Panhandle. Andy resided in Panhandle for 45 years and worked at Pantex for 35 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Naomi Hennig; sister, Linda Gafford; and brother, Ed Hennig.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Janie Hennig of Panhandle; three daughters, Tammie Estep and husband Ben of Panhandle, Becca Henson and husband Jason of Amarillo, Susan Hennig of Austin; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two on the way; and extended family.
