Lowell Jay Mynear

Lowell Jay Mynear, 92, passed away August 11th, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Nicholas County on April 20th, 1929 to the late John Henry and Amanda Jane Mynear. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ellen Mynear, two sons, Lowell Gene Mynear, Melvin Jay Mynear, a daughter, Shirley Ann Clem and a granddaughter, Kathy Jo Clem. He is survived by one daughter, Judy Sexton of Mt. Sterling, two sons Ronnie (Hazel) Mynear and Jimmy (Jenny) Mynear of Paris. Mr. Mynear had twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Most of Mr. Mynear's life was spent farming and retired from Claiborne Farm after 20 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday August 16, 2021 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Don Jolly. Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Monday August 16, 2021 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Clem, Gary Kates, Carl Sexton, James Allen Mynear, Michael Mynear and John Mola. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Yazell, Harold Davis, Kenny Sexton and Joshua White.
