Loyd Dean Martin passed away on June 19, 2025, in Cordell, OK. He was born on April 4, 1961, to Eldon & Sidney Martin, in Henderson, NV. Loyd grew up and attended school in Basic High School in Henderson, NV. He met and married Beverly Wilson, on December 16, 1983, in Clinton, OK. He was a carpenter by trade, and a good one at that. Loyd could fix just about anything, build whatever you needed, and somehow make it look easy. He didn't brag or make a big deal about his work-he just showed up, did it right, and let the results speak for themselves. He also spent countless miles behind the wheel of a truck, hauling loads and keeping things moving. He loved the open road-the freedom of it, the rhythm of driving, the quiet time to think. Whether he was delivering goods across the state or just taking the long way home, Loyd found peace in the journey. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
