Yesterday
I served with Bert and deployed with him to Kuwait and Afghanistan. A great clinician and soldier. He helped many soldiers successfully cope in a combat zone. A true American hero. My he rest in peace.

Bill and I are sorry to learn of the passing if Bert. We knew Bert since 1977,from the 818th Medical Brigade.
He was an outstanding officer and genuine individual and friend.
