We are saddened to share that Lu Ann Taylor, 67, of Whitestown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 7, 2026. While our hearts were not ready, we find comfort in knowing she now has a brand-new body and is no longer suffering.
Lu Ann was born May 3, 1958, in Lebanon, Indiana, to Donald and Ginny Blanton. She was proud to be a member of the first graduating class of Tri-West High School in 1976. On June 5, 1976, she married her devoted husband, Mark, who provided her with loving and steadfast care for many years.
She most enjoyed the simple peace of being at home with Mark and her beloved cats, where she spent her time listening to classic music and watching classic game shows. Lu Ann was a devoted mother who was extremely proud of her son, Christopher, and his wife, Jessica. She is further survived by her mother, Ginny Blanton, and her brothers, Buddy (Marlene) Blanton and Gene Blanton. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald.
Lu Ann will always be loved and never forgotten. A celebration of life service will be held at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home on Friday, February 13, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
