Luann Mossey, 70, of Ashland Massachusetts passed away peacefully at Boston Medical Center November 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 22, 1955, in Boston Massachusetts at Roslindale General Hospital to Joseph Costello and Marie (Darrigo) Costello.

Luann was educated at Framingham North High School graduating in the class of 1972.

She is survived by her three daughters, Christina Mossey of Worcester Massachusetts, Victoria Mossey of Marlboro Massachusetts and Jennifer Mossey of Northboro Massachusetts, four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mossey, Dylan Nugent, Kayla Nugent, and Haley Mossey. She is also survived by her siblings, Theresa Costello, Joseph (Cheryl) Costello, Patty Osborne, and Kathleen (John) Pasciuti, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Luann was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Mossey, her parents Joseph and Marie Costello, and her brother-in-law Joel Osborne.

Luann's kitty, Luna, was her loving companion and brought much joy to Luann's life.

Luann had several jobs over the years, including New England Telephone Company, Consolidated Group Trust, and retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a senior customer service representative.

Luann had a great sense of humor with a contagious laugh. She was an animal lover, especially loving her kitty Luna, and recently getting lots of kisses and comfort from doggie Winnie.

Luann loved and was dedicated to watching her NASCAR every week, her favorite racer being Denny Hamlin. She would frequently attend races with her daughters and grandchildren. Luann was a devoted fan of General Hospital for decades never missing an episode. Luann enjoyed doing her word search puzzles and looked forward to her summer outings to the ocean with family.
