In Loving Memory of Luc Donovan Valiquette
On a bright and brisk September afternoon in 1988 the world welcomed our beloved Luc Donovan Valiquette. He would go on to touch the lives of many.
Luc left us far too soon on November 30, 2024 at the untimely age of 36. He was a kind and gentle soul who was soft spoken. His passing leaves an un-fillable void in the hearts of those who loved him.
Luc was a man of immense intellect, driven by an insatiable curiosity that enriched his life. A true collector and hobbyist, he found joy in discovering all that piqued his interest. He loved music from an early age and enjoyed creating artwork, taking photos, traveling, binge watching series, enjoying nature and spending quality time with family and friends. He found fulfillment in his career at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center in various roles with the most recent as a Plant Utilities Engineer.
A loving family surrounded Luc's life, which he cherished deeply. He is survived by his mother Adriann Valiquette, father Jean-Luc Valiquette, step mother Marcia Valiquette, brother Sidney Valiquette, step brother Llamar Owens, step sister Ava Mihalo, grandparents Jean and Huguette Valiquette, Carolyn and Charles Dziengiel, late grandfather James Donovan, aunt Robin Donovan, aunt Diane and uncle James Savage, uncle Winston Knight, late uncle Jim Donovan and numerous cousins and friends.
Although Luc's time with us was too short, the experiences, passion, and love he shared continue to resonate in the hearts of those fortunate to have spent time with him. His memory will forever inspire and remind us to approach life with curiosity, kindness and an open heart. His genuine smile had the magical ability to lighten heavy hearts and brighten the darkest days.
Rest in peace. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Luc was fun loving, very respectful, a smile that melts your heart, and a heart of gold, ironically he loved gold. We miss him so much. MV
